Morocco Day 2… Random people you meet…

The best part of travelling is the random people you meet… And once you start talking to them it’s like you’ve known them your whole life…

I was on the ferry to Tangier and this random gentleman walked up to me… Said he noticed me as I boarded… Said he felt a connection with me as he saw me interacting with some Brits…

He said he approached me simply because of my smile… Said a smile is the door to the heart. And once the heart is open, it’s difficult not to see its light.

Within 5 minutes we were talking a depth like we’ve known each other our whole lives… About the beauty of life and also it’s misery…. And how both are simply facts of life…

He warned me about his country, at the same time welcomed me to it.

He invited me to his place in Rabat, but the itinerary is too tight…

What a wonderful way to be welcomed to Morocco by an enlightened Moroccan.

It’s funny how crazy things just happen on their own…

…. Walked through the Medina to the hostel in Tangier… Another adventure in itself indeed…

Prayers just sounded…. It’s two days before the start of Ramadan…
